It has spent more time in the shop over the past two years than on the road but this is about to end folks......the body has been completely re-done over and there are no more dents, blemishes, rust or rot and it will have a new but original Maroon color finish this week and a new muffler system is being put in by Lou's Custom Exhaust in North Reading, MA tomorrow morning:>) I am pretty excited about all of this as I have been waiting to enjoy this car for a very long time.
I bought the car in the "Summah of 96" so that I could cart my new girlfriend at the time, Paula "a real Oklahoma peach" around in but we never made it thru the summah, I still have the Caddy:>)...my uncle Kenny sold it to me for $350.00 back in 1996 and I have had it all these years....some times driving it but more often than not it has sat in my mothers yard, behind my office on Wintah Hill or in the auto mechanic shop getting repaired! I finally made a decision to drop some money into it two years back and bring it back to it's original slendore of 1963.....but this decision has been side tracked by a body man who works slowly...very slowly:>)
The Caddy still needs a completely nuevo interior upoholstery & set of tires but this stuff will all be done ASAP...so be on the look out for it this summah!
If you have an interest in Classic Cars and want to show one off...there is a meet being planned for the American Legion Marsh Post #442 in Cambridge, MA this August and maybe even one here in the Village of Piedmont-location to be announced!

I am wondering if your Caddy has any history on WinterHill (or Revere Beach Blvd)carrying wiseguys or machine guns back in the 60's :)
MY 1st car was '57 caddy.........only owned it about 9 months tho....the insurance was craoking me at 18 yrs old..the thing had power seats and a button on the floor that when stepped on would tune the radio or control the volume.......cant re call which
no wiseguys from the 60's but one of Stevie Flemmis kid's sat in the back seat back in the mid 90's...I was out for Chinese Food with a bunch of friends one Friday night in Saugus and unbeknowst to me three of his kids were in the group...my pal's ole man was a big bookie in Cambridge who paid tribute to Flemmi ..anyway Flemmi had just gone on the run and I was not to happy to know I was there in this company as I am sure the Feds were watching his kid's closely...nothing came about the night but I had the Caddy out that night and one of the Flemmi kid's liked and sat in it...thats the story and I am sticking to it!
My grandfather ran the numbers racket in Cambridge for many years in the 30's-60's...his saloon the "Oaks Cafe" on Springfield Street was thee place in the city for years...
I think WooTown Lou's was over by Harding Street..saw an ole sign there yesterday on way to Worcester Irish Festival....I needed a custom made muffler for the Caddy...hard to get a 1963 Caddy muffler off the rack..but I am sure the moron new this:>)
